Our approach to mental health care is deeply individualized. Each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of children, teens, adults, and families, offering tools to navigate life’s challenges and discover new paths forward. Depending on each person’s goals and needs, services may include play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), medication support, and a range of other proven Evidence-Based Practices.

Foothill Family delivers care where it’s needed most—in homes, schools, our community, and at our welcoming locations throughout the region. We also provide access to supportive community resources to ensure a holistic approach to healing and well-being.

Intensive Services

In addition to our outpatient and community-based mental health care, Foothill Family also offers a range of intensive services designed to support children, teens, and families facing more complex or severe challenges.

These services provide a higher level of care, greater frequency of contact, and deeper coordination with schools, medical providers, and community supports to ensure safety, stability, and long-term success.

Our intensive services include:

Wraparound

Wraparound works with children who have been removed from their homes and surrounds them with intensive support with the goal of establishing and further developing healthy family relationships that lead to a permanent home.

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) provides short-term intensive support to children experiencing a life crisis or eminent life crisis by teaching the clients and their caregivers intervention strategies that help children change negative behavior.

Full Service Partnership (FSP)

Full Service Partnership (FSP) provides comprehensive, in-home mental health services to severely emotionally disturbed children up to 15 years old living in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys.

Intensive Field Capable Clinical Services (IFCCS)

Intensive Field Capable Clinical Services (IFCCS) supports children and transitional-aged youth up to 21 years old who have had difficulties maintaining a stable placement for an extended period of time. Services for these clients who live in Los Angeles County and maintain an open DCFS case may include individual and family therapy, vocational and education referrals, case management, trauma-informed services, and linkage to community resources.
